TILE MODULES

READYSLATE® MODULES

The double layer design of the READYSLATE® tile modules deliver significant installation time and cost savings and will provide an exceptionally tough barrier against any weather.

READYSLATE® consists of two layers:

Support layer: a waterproof bituminous self-adhesive membrane. A non-woven polyester felt reinforced with an SBS modified bitumen mastic coating makes for a super tough membrane that water just can’t get penetrate.

Slate tile: Premium quality 3-4mm thick hand-quarried natural slates with a density of 2850 Kg/m3.

These tiles offer outstanding thermal performance in both hot and cold climates.

Individual tiles are predrilled and marked with a reference lime marking the overlap to make the installation process even easier.

READYSLATE® should be installed over an approved breathable roofing underlay sitting on top of a continuous substrate such as plywood.

The continuous supporting substrate significantly reduces the likelihood of tiles being damaged in extreme weather events such as severe hail storms.

And even if a tile is broken the supporting substrate will help reduce the potential for any water penetrating through to the internal roof structure.
