SPAX Timber Construction Screw – Delta Seal Countersunk Full Thread (8mm) 50/Box

Description

Delta-seal is a zinc flake coating system. The system comprises an electroplated base layer and a Delta-seal topcoat which provides highly effective anti-corrosion.

In tests carried out with neutral salt spray, Delta-seal compared with standard galvanized screws offered more than twice the corrosion resistance.

In test compared with zinc yellow electroplated, Delta-seal offered more than 10 times higher corrosion resistance.

Applications:

• Application: Lateral pressure reinforcement, flexibly connected bending beams, lateral tension reinforcements
• Absorption of high tensile and compressive forces by being fully threaded
• Absorption of particularly high pulling forces compared to partial threaded screws
• Wide spectrum of applications through screw lengths of up to 600 mm
• Cost-effective alternative to bolt connections, formed metal sheet parts and lateral reinforcement through glued on reinforcement panels or glued in threaded bars
