The S-5-K Grip Mini clamp was specifically developed to fit bulb snap-together seams. The design utilises multiple inserts in order to accommodate a variety of bulb snap-together profiles. The S-5-K Grip Mini is a bit shorter than the S-5-K Grip and has one base bolt rather than two. The Mini is the perfect choice for attaching all kinds of rooftop accessories: signs, walkways, satellite dishes, antennas, rooftop lighting, lightning protection systems and many more.

The S-5 GX 50 Mini Insert allows the clamp to be used with the following roofing profiles: LYSAGHT KLIP-LOK 700, YSAGHT KLIP-LOK 700 Hi-Strength, Stramit Speed Deck Ultra, Fielders KingKlip 700 and other similar profiles.

Installation:

To install the S-5-K Grip Mini, place the clamp insert just under the fold of the rib at the desired location.

Next, position the clamp by rolling it over the seam and the clamp insert piece, ensuring it is centered over the clamp insert with approximately 2 mm of insert overhang on each side of the clamp.

By hand, partially thread the single flanged bolt into the base of the S-5-K Grip Mini. The bolt should engage in the center of the S-5-K Grip Mini insert.

Lastly, tighten the base bolt using a ratchet or screwgun with a 13 mm hex. For optimal holding strength, bolt should be tensioned to 20 inch pounds.

Please note: The image below illustrates the S-5-K Grip. The steps remain the same for the S-5-K Grip Mini, however, there will only be one setscrew on the clamp.
